Verified by Visa is an authentication service that protects Visa cards from unauthorized transactions when you buy online on sites of resellers participating in the initiative. The service protects VISA cards with secret passwords, giving cardholders the guarantee that they are the only ones who can use them for online transactions. Once your card has been used, the card number will be recognised each time it is used by the participating online shops. The Verified by Visa window will automatically appear, then the bank issuing your Visa card will ask you to enter your password. At this point you must enter your password to verify your identity and be able to make the purchase. Your Visa card will continue to work as usual in shops that do not join the Verified by Visa initiative.
Mastercard SecureCode
The MasterCard# securecode is an authentication service that protects cards from unauthorized transactions when you buy online on retailer sites that join the initiative. The service protects the Mastercard and Maestro cards with a secret password, the guarantee of being the only ones to use them for online transactions with MasterCard or Maestro. Once your card has been activated, the card number will be recognised each time it is used by the participating online shops. The MasterCard securecode window will automatically appear, then the bank issuing your MasterCard or Maestro card will ask you to enter your password. At this point you must enter your password to verify your identity and be able to make the purchase. Your card will continue to operate as usual in stores that do not participate in the MasterCard securecode initiative.
VAT is included in the sales price and for shipments in Italy VAT is 22%. Please note that VAT may vary depending on the country of destination. We are not able to handle VAT-free sales in web transactions.

It is important to store your jewellery properly when travelling, moving or at home between uses. Keep the jewelry in a box away from the outside when possible and separate to prevent the pieces from tangling.
Store your jewelry at home
If your jewelry is used frequently, avoid excessive exposure to air and store it in a tarnish-proof cloth or jewelry box to store the jewelry. Good jewelry boxes are lined with anti-fog fabric and have a separate space for each individual piece.
Packaging of jewelry on the go
It is important to keep your jewelry organized and protected during your trip. When traveling with multiple pieces, it is recommended to store items in a box or bag with separate compartments. This will protect the jewelry from getting tangled or cluttered. Make sure the items are away from the clothes to avoid tearing. Wear or bring valuables in case you lose your baggage.

Using a small amount of Evolution by Gival silver jewelry cleaning product on a soft cloth, gently rub the silver several times. Then rinse the silver thoroughly with warm water and dry thoroughly. This will remove the oxidation and matte patina, keeping your silver jewelry as new. Note: It is advisable to avoid contact with chlorine and bleach as accelerators of the oxidation process.
Once cleaned and polished, the silver must be properly stored in a dry place.

Professional cleaning and polishing
Professional cleaning of jewelry is recommended at least once a year. We invite you to bring your Gival jewelry to us for professional maintenance.
Only polishing can remove scratches from gold and platinum. However, the patina of subtle scratches that develops over time can add beauty to the jewel and reflect the journey it has made. The polishing process removes the metal and it is recommended to perform it only a few times in the life of the jewel.
Advice and recommendations / Daily care
Between professional maintenance, most gold jewelry can be cleaned with non-abrasive products. Regularly inspect your jewelry to make sure that your ring frames, necklaces and bracelets hooks are safe.
Avoid exposing gold jewelry in contact with household bleach, as it can quickly cause discoloration and disintegration. It is advisable to store the gold jewelry in a safe place before performing these activities:
